Brianne’s paintings explore the relationship between architecture and nature, symbolizing transitional phases of growth and transformation. Brianne creates a narrative in each oil painting, illustrating passageways of transition through symbolism in nature and metamorphosis. The extreme angular position presents the viewer with an investigation of endings and beginnings at an unusual perspective. Using classical styles of painting, Brianne aspires to high realism and atmospheric perspective. Studying in Florence has heightened her discipline, raising her work to a new level of intensity and breadth of skill.

Brianne is currently enrolled in an MFA at OCAD University. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University, completing her final year in Florence, Italy where she continued to live and paint for five years before returning to her hometown, Hamilton ON. Brianne also has a diploma in Illustration from the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. She has exhibited her work internationally throughout Canada, Italy and France.
